This is a collection of every sheet I've been able to scour from the Internet or purchase and scan in myself for the time being. Huge thanks to Tessie for helping me name and figure out a lot of the sheets! More trivial info under cut

In case it needs to be said, there is no need to credit me if you use any of these sheets for anything - they're not mine! I'm just an animation fanatic doing a little archival! (And a lot of these are scanned by people other than me anyway!)

This collection includes every sheet that features anything notable. A lot of sheets look very similar (for example, shading guides are just base character sheets with added shading) but for archival purposes they're still included, even if they're largely the same. Every reference sheet is named for easy browsing, but if I've made a mistake anywhere, please let me know!

I'll still try and collect more sheets as I keep checking if any go up for sale on sites like Mercari, but I offer no guarantee that I'll have many more scans to offer anytime soon (it is costly!)

I think Tron is really cool as a character both design-wise and conceptually. Here is something I did for zexal month in 2019. What if Tron's body kept getting eaten by the void?

As someone who loves seeing family dynamics in fiction, Yugioh Zexal came for my fucking throat.

There's Yuma, who misses his parents and lives with his grandma and older sister, who looks up to his father as a sort of idol and chooses to sleep in the attic with all the stuff brought back from their adventures because he still misses them so much.

There's Shark, who lost his parents as a child and then had to deal with his twin sister Rio ending up comatose in the hospital. Shark and Rio bicker and go at each other, but hurt one and you Will have the other coming for you.

There's Kaito, whose whole focus was on helping his younger brother Haruto recover, even if it meant damning himself in the process. He sacrifices his own well being via Photon Change time and time again for Haruto's sake, and puts up with so much from his shitty father, all for his baby brother.

And then there's the Arclights. The family patriarch Byron was betrayed and came back years later swearing revenge, using his sons as pawns in his scheme. The boys are also messed up, between V's emotional distance, IV's sadistic tendencies, and III's self sacrificial desperation to protect his family no matter the cost. And yet, the three brothers do still care about each other despite it all, remaining loyal to their broken little family despite knowing their position.

Zexal was so good on that front. It's one of my favourite YGO series.

A few fun facts from looking at the sprites: III's hair is miscolored but was fixed when the game was localized into English. They did NOT fix his hair in his character scene artwork though. Also they used Yusei as a dummy sprite

Rotating stuffing more legacy characters in Arc-V as part of my 'Arc-V but I have fun with it' au, here's what i got so far:

Sho Marufuji:

-A first year at Academia

-Wants to stack up to his brother so much, is hoping he'll adapt to having to card people if he just tries hard enough.

-Was forced to go to Standard alongside Sora in an attempt to toughen him up, ended up going undercover at LDS while Sora went off to You Show. He's not enthused about being roped into this.

-Uses Vehicroids

Ryo 'Hell Kaiser' Marufuji:

-One of the two aces of Academia

-A terror on the field

-Does care about Sho, wants him to do his best for Academia and is hoping the undercover mission in Standard will be good for him

-Uses Cyber Dragons/Cyberdarks

Fubuki 'Nightshroud' Tenjoin:

-The other ace of Academia

-On the field, he's a menace. Off duty, he's just as much a goofball as his GX self.

-Doesn't know where Asuka vanished off to

-Dating Ryo.

-Uses Red Eyes Black Dragon

-If you're in the XYZ Dimension and you see the Hell Kaiser and Nightshroud together, just run.

Byron and Christopher Arclight:

-Were researchers, shifted focus to find ways to repel the Fusion invasion

-Ended up conspiring to have Thomas and Michael sent away so they could make a last stand against Obelisk Force, got carded.

Thomas Arclight:

-Was going to be a pro duelist before the invasion

-Was a little too eager to get into fights against Obelisk Force.

-Uses Gimmick Puppets

-Got sent away to Synchro Dimension against his will by Byron. He's mad about it.

Michael Arclight:

-Was a student before the invasion

-Tended to work in a tag team with Thomas to fight Obelisk Force

-Uses Chronomalies. Also uses a Duel Disk he stole from some poor Obelisk Force grunt because he wanted the sword aesthetic. :)

-Got sent away to Standard Dimension against his will by Christopher. He's...coping. (He wants his family back so badly).

-Ends up quickly getting caught blasting a few too many XYZ Summons and forced to attend LDS against his will. He hates having to attend an Akaba run school, he hates that Reiji's voice is so similar to Thomas' voice-

-Yes this puts him in range of Sho, no this won't end badly-
